Maryland Volleyball Announces Coaches Clinic.

"We are excited to offer a coaching clinic on the campus of the University of Maryland.  One of our goals moving forward is to build excitement for the sport and encourage coaches to share ideas, training tips, drills and information in and around the state.  We have world class facilities and our location will make it easy for coaches in Maryland and surrounding states to spend a day with us.  Our goal is to provide information and some unique ideas prior to your teams preseason this fall."  - Coach Aird -

A Letter From Head Coach Steve Aird

When I accepted the position of the Head Volleyball Coach at the University of Maryland I set out to create a positive learning environment where student athletes would learn to dream big, set goals and achieve at a high level. I wanted to create a program where our student athletes would learn to be a great teammate, the value of hard work and enjoy the process. Ultimately, I wanted to create a place where student athletes learned life skills through the vehicle of volleyball, all while competing to win conference and national championships.

It’s with these same ideals that I’m extremely excited to launch the Maryland Volleyball Camp program. I believe very strongly that our Terp Volleyball Camp will prepare young athletes for the next step in their volleyball career. My goal is to employ a staff that will help create a championship atmosphere. An atmosphere that will help get 100% out of their 100%...regardless of age, skill level or expereince. I want each of our campers to come away with a better understanding of the game while developing their individual skills. In the end, I want all of those who come to our camp to walk away knowing they improved their game, had a great time and inspire them to continue playing the sport they love.

Please take a few minutes to read about all of our various camp options. Summer will be here before you know it and I hope you will join us for what promises to be a great Maryland Volleyball Experience.
